THE UPLIFT MOFO PARTY PLAN

  • Give it Away: Screaming on right channel just before Anthony's vocals start - more present in multitrack recordings.

  • Give it Away: John's reverse guitar popping back up for a short moment after his second solo.

  • Under the Bridge: Subtle piano and acoustic guitar in the outro

  • Sir Psycho Sexy: "Scream" (4.08) [very audible when you listen to just the drum track]

ONE HOT MINUTE

  • One Hot Minute: Hidden harmonica in the chorus - listen here.

CALIFORNICATION

  • Californication: Somebody (John?) says "woah" at the end of the track.

  • Right On Time: Bleedthrough of Anthony's vocals (probably intentional because it doesn't appear on the Unmastered disc) just before music starts.

BY THE WAY

  • Universally Speaking: Xylophone following vocal line in second verse

  • Don't Forget Me: Vocal line that follows guitar solo

  • Midnight: Deep synth on left channel (1.51)

STADIUM ARCADIUM

  • Especially in Michigan: John changes which pick-up he's switched to (~0.20)

  • 21st Century: Somebody (Flea?) humming along during the instrumental intro. ("Wa wa wa wa")

  • Turn It Again: Congas being played during the second verse

  • Death of a Martian: Flea saying "Woah" at the very end of the track, as it fades out

I'M WITH YOU

  • Factory of Faith: Anthony's vocals doubled slightly/echo'd on the Factually, I lines.

  • Ethiopia: Somebody shouting in the rhythm track, possibly guiding the band into the final chorus. (2.52)

  • In Love Dying: Somebody shouting, guiding the band back into the next change. (6.35)

THE GETAWAY

  • The Hunter: Anthony clearing his throat (2.02)
